Lifting Up
Although this virtual baby shower has been fun- an adventure in celebrating the upcoming arrival of little Jellybean- I could think of no greater and more powerful way to close out our "gathering" than to come together to pr for Adam and Andrea as they begin the most incredible and rewarding adventure of their lives! Please take a few moments to share your thoughts for them and baby Jellybean!

Awesome Father -- thank you for this whole thing called "life" and for how you bless us with not only our own lives -- but the ability to have our own children. May Adam and Andrea continue to "rock" and be "awesome" children to YOU as they seek to be good parents to this new child!
Give them patience.. give them joy at midnight hours ... give them the ability to balance living in a new culture with bringing up their baby. Thank you that You will guide them step by step as long as they look to you for that guidance! In faith we'll stand together with them through You... Amen.

Father - im amazed at the way we are formed. what a mircale. the design is flawless and perfect. I am even more amazed by the way normal people grow into parenthood. I ask for extra patience and gentleness. I ask that they grow closer to one another through the joys of parenting. I ask that you would provide them with the guidance and wisdom to face each day (and night). I ask that they would be surrounded by people who love them and I ask for protection for their precious family.

Holy One... thank you SO much for working in Adam and Andrea's lives to bring them to this point. Where you have them, the people you've laid on their hearts, and the timing of little Jellybean's birth is all so perfect and reason to give you praise. We know you've worked in their lives, not so much for their happiness, but for YOUR glory...and for that we give you the glory you deserve. Continue to bless them with your guidance and presence...especially as they take on these new roles as daddy and mommy. Give Adam the kind of Father's love for Jellybean that you have for your children and give Andrea the tender and compassionate love for Jellybean that your Sp*r*t so often shows us. We praise you that Adam and Andrea love each other and little Jellybean and we acknowledge that it's only because you FIRST loved us! New life is such a marvelous thing to behold...thank you for such an awesome display of your grace and your goodness by bringing this baby into the world.

Dear Father,
Thank you for this precious heavenly gift. Our heart rejoices for this precious life and precious family. We lift up this pregnancy, delivery and life in your hand. We lift that this baby and mommy will be healthy and well. Please calm the daddy's spirit as he is counting the days to be a daddy.
May you bless Jellybean, keep Jellybean, may your face shine on Jellybean be gracious to Jellybean and give Jellybean peace.

Dear Father,
We love Adam and Andrea and their precious baby you are forming. We are so thankful you have blessed our lives with them and another schef. Please take care of their little one now and always and help them to follow after you and teach their little one to do the same. Continue to guide them and teach them with your word. Help us to be good friends and an excellent aunt and uncle. Help us to be a support and help to Adam and Andrea and let them know that they can lean on usanytime. May you bless them greatly with a wonderful, sweet, beautiful, easygoing, healthy baby. In your Sons Name! Amen

Father, I thank you that of all the families in all the world, of all the times in history, of all the cultures, of all the life circumstances, of all the men and women on the planet, you've chosen Adam and Andrea to be the parents of this new life. I pray that they would, from the first moment they lay eyes on him/her, share their joy of life and the love of our Savior. I pray that they would have wisdom to know how to be the parents their child needs in their complicated calling and that he/she would come to know Jesus at a young age. I ask that Andrea would be an amazing mom, knowing what her baby needs and having endless patience, energy and wisdom. I ask that Adam would be a rock - a protector and leader of the family and an encourager to Andrea as their lives change forever. And I pray that you would strengthen their marriage as they begin this new season of life together. And please, let this family be a part of bringing the joy of knowing You to the peoples of India.
Dear Father,
You are the creater of life and miracles and this baby is just that. Thank you for keeping Andrea and Adam safe as they travel far from home and reach people all the way around the world. Thank you for the way that you are using them in our lives and for the faith that they have. Father please comfort them and strengthen their relationship as they welcome this precious baby into the world. May you surround them and give them a peace that they never knew existed. Most of all Father please guide and protect their new family as they do your work... you are amazing!
